Stephen J. Chu,Ā DMD

Dr. Chu, received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He obtained his Masterās of Science degree in Restorative Dentistry and completed the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at the University of Washington, in Seattle.
Dr. Chu subsequently became a board-certified dental technician in ceramics and obtained a Masterās degree in Dental Technology from the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD). He is the former Director of the Continuing Education Program in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry at NYUCD. Stephen J. Chu is a Former Adjunct Clinical Professor at New York University College of Dentistry in the departments of periodontology, implant dentistry, and prosthodontics having served for 26 years. Dr. Chu has contributed over 100 publications including 7 textbooks in the dental literature.Dr. Chu presently serves as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Chu is a recipient of the Peter Scharer Distinguished Lecturer Award (European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry [EAED] 2013), Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry (Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry [SCAD] 2015), and E. B. Clark Award (SCAD 2016).
Dennis P. Tarnow, DDS

Dr. Dennis Tarnow is currently Clinical Professor of Periodontology and Director of Implant Education at Columbia School of Dental Medicine and former Professor and Chairman of the Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. He has a certiļ¬cate in Periodontics and Prosthodontics and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Tarnow has a private multispecialty interdisciplinary practice in New York City, and has been honored with a wing named after him at New York University College of Dentistry. He has published over 250 articles on perio-prosthodontics and implant dentistry and has co-authored four textbooks including The Single Tooth Implant. Dr. Tarnow has lectured extensively in the United States and internationally in over forty-five countries.
Dr. Tarnow is a recipient of the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology, Teacher of the Year Award from New York University, Nobel Biocare Branemark Osseointegration Award from Academy of Osseointegration, Distinguished Lecturer Award from the American College of Prosthodontists, Lifetime Achievement Award from Spanish Society of Prosthodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry (SEPES), and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
